A Manhattan Beach couple was drawn back to Agoura Hills, where they grew up, seeking a home on six acres of chaparral-covered hillsides that would bring them closer to extended family and provide an ultimate play space for their three young children. The design is rooted in the tradition of American farmhouses, creating a comfortable home that would serve as the center of family life and support outdoor living. The design features a central Great Hall with adjoining wings containing private family spaces and bedrooms.
