Desert House
Set in the foothills outside Las Vegas, this Spanish Colonial Revival home offers stunning views of the Nevada desert and city lights. This home uses carefully designed courtyard spaces to defend against the heat of the Nevada desert. Inspired by the works of George Washington Smith and Wallace Neff, the design features an inviting entry court with lush Mediterranean landscaping, a central fountain, and an inviting exterior stair leading to a second floor studio. Organized around a groin-vaulted loggia, the home blends indoor and outdoor living through the centrality of this comfortable space. A spacious Great Room opens to a backyard oasis with pool and a charming pavilion pool house.
