Dume Drive
The 1915 Panama-California Exposition in San Diego showcased a picturesque collection of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, which became highly influential throughout California and the Southwest. This led to the style becoming the dominant regional historical architecture in Southern California, a trend that continues to this day.
Situated on Malibu's Point Dume, this house embraces the Spanish Colonial tradition while engaging with the landscape to encourage outdoor living. The house features a gracious central loggia that serves as the focus of family life.
